Abo Ikoyo is a young 17 year old Belgian-Congolese girl. During a school assignment about the colonial pastof DR Congo, she plunges into her own unknown family history: the fierce resistance of her ancestors against the horrors of the Leopold era, a great-grandfather who was the personal driver of Patrice Lumumba, a devastating war for coltan and other blood minerals.
