Rasmané is stuck with a corpse! His friend Philip has died, but the traditional village elders are against him being buried in the village because he has violated certain customs. For Rasmané it is the beginning of an odyssey through Burkina Faso, as it turns out it is not easy to get the body of a man buried who was not baptised, does not have a Muslim first name and was not a member of any of the country’s religious communities. This critical social satire won two awards at FESPACO 2019.
