IT’S MY LIFE

This documentary shows us five months of the life of Zackie Achmat, activist and leader of the awareness-raising campaign for the fight against Aids in South Africa. Through images of his public and private existence, lectures, interviews, demonstrations and courts of law, his home and the medical practice, we follow his activism against the pharmaceutical multinational corporations that prevent hospitals and clinics using common medicines to help Aids and Hiv+ patients. A sonorous-visual symphony that reflects the energy and lucidity of a charismatic personality.
