Karani Ngufu

Sandra, Laila and Yvette, three domestic workers in a popular quarter of Kigali, are struggling for a better living and respect. In their successes and failures their friendship helps them to overcome the severity of the life of a Karani Ngufu, a local expression associated with casual labourers . The film highlights the plight of domestic workers in a humorous way and it also gives them a voice in the society.
