Screening of films nominated for the Young African Film Makers Award

The annual Guido Huysmans Young African Film Makers Award (YAFMA) supports new African talent with the creation of high quality films.

Its objective is also to create a positive vision of Africa in the media. The aim of the award is not only to help individual careers, but also to work as a center of contact and dialogue for the African film world. Its underlying purpose is the development of a strong community and of mutual understanding of cultural diversity.
