Stories of our Lives

Stories of our Lives is an offshoot of the Nairobi artistic collective The Nest, which travelled through the still very homophobic Kenya for several months, to meet young LGBT people. Themes such as concealment or, on the contrary, the affirmation of one's own identity and the struggle to be accepted, is expressed through poignant and poetic testimonies. The film, which is forbidden in Kenya, expresses the hope and courage of women and men unwilling to give up.
