TWENDE BERLIN

Urban Mirror is a public-art project which started in 2009 and aims to give a voice to the urban scene of Nairobi. After successful shows and events like Love Zone and Theatre Zone where collectives, groups and centres were featured that mostly work away from the official art world, Urban Mirror presents a new project: the documentary Twende Berlin. This documentary is a film about urban spaces and the relationship to them as told through the eyes of a troupe of African Hip Hop artists in the streets of Berlin. A film documentary about Berlin public space activism from an African perspective.
