UN DIMANCHE A KIGALI

Spring 1994. Bernard Valcourt, a journalist from Quebec, is in Kigali to shoot a documentary on the devastation wreaked by AIDS, as tensions escalate between Tutsis and Hutus. At the Hôtel Des Mille Collines, Valcourt falls madly in love with the waitress Gentille. In spite of their differences, they throw caution to the wind. Then the genocide breaks out. Amidst the chaos the lovers are brutally separated. Months later, Valcourt returns to Kigali in search of Gentille.
