When Renzo Martens screened his film Enjoy Poverty in Tate Modern London, he noticed all over the building logos of  Unilever, which exploited and still exploits massive parts of DR Congo with its palm-oil and cacao plantations. Often (semi-)colonial multinationals are financing art institutions. Martens plan is to change the direction of the wealth flow. On a former Unilever plantation, he brings a group of plantation workers to produce art and to build an own museum to attract tourists and thus income. The profits are used to buy back their land and start an inclusive and ecological plantation.
