Islam Zain al-Abidin is a Sudanese plastic artist, who immigrated to France in the mid-nineties after student demonstrations against the new Bashir regime. In 1991 the regime closed the College of Arts where he studied. In 2019, Islam Zian El Abidin participated in the Sudanese demonstrations in Europe in support of the popular revolution that started in Sudan. The result of his interaction with the revolution is reflected in his artwork.
