Roger Jamar et les Palabres de Mboloko

Jean-Michel Kibushi a réalisé un film à propos du pionnier de films d'animation au Congo et même dans tout l'Afrique noir: Roger Jamar. 

'Les Palabres de Mboloko' are a series of short 16 mm color ‘animated cartoons for Africans’ produced in the Belgian Congo by the priest Father Roger Jamar during the 1950s. They have been called the first ‘African’ films, despite being made by Europeans, because they incorporated elements of African folklore and music. Kanda belongs to this series.
