ENTRE LES MURS

François, a teacher of French in the fourth grade of a school in an area known to be tough, is preparing for the start of a new year. Cultures and values often clash in the classroom, which is a mirror of contemporary society in France. Pupils can be funny and inspiring at times, but their erratic behavior easily undermines the enthusiasm of an underpaid teacher. François insist on creating an atmosphere in which attention and respect are predominant. His pupils are surprised at his openness and sincerity but can’t resist the temptation of challenging his democratic methods and ethics.
